  26. I used to have a problem whereby I couldn't post mail or news, or send Web
  27. requests, but I could receive mail and news with no problem.

  29. Before I go into how I fixed it (because I still don't know why it was
  30. happening, for sure), try running "netstat status" and let me know how
  31. many retransmit timeouts it reports after you've tried to use the net
  32. for a while.  Maybe you don't have the same problem.
